Rather, the director tells a story about two people who have found love, but don't know what to do or how to deal with it, which is something that anyone gay or straight once did, does, or will eventually deal with in their lives. Both are sad characters living in a sad time, cheating on their wives and lying to everyone especially themselves. I find it laughable that some viewers feel that gay love is more "carnal and lascivious" than straight love.
